NPCollege 30th Gala Experience

Celebrating 30 Years of Excellence

The School of Medical Imaging celebrated its 30th Anniversary Gala on June 5, 2026, honoring three decades of educational excellence, innovation, and service to the healthcare community. Since opening its doors in 1996 in Montebello, California, as Montebello Career College, the institution has grown significantly. Following approval by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE), the school adopted the name National Polytechnic College (NPCollege) in 1999. Over the years, NPCollege earned national accreditation through the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and has evolved into a respected leader in allied health education, expanding its reach with campuses in Lakewood, California, and Henderson, Nevada.

Multi-State Expansion: The opening of the Henderson, Nevada branch campus in 2025 marks the College’s expansion beyond California, with continued service to students in neighboring states, including Texas, Arizona, and Colorado.

The College maintains the following regulatory approvals and institutional standing:
  • Accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) since 2003
  • Approved by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) since 1996.
  • Approved by the Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education (CPE) since 2025.

Over the past 30 years, the college has prepared thousands of healthcare professionals through comprehensive medical imaging programs, including:

  • Radiologic Technologist (RT)
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
  • Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS)
  • Cardiovascular Sonography (CRVS)
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)

NPCollege remains committed to providing students with hands-on clinical training, advanced technology and industry focused education that meets the evolving needs of healthcare providers nationwide.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of awards and recognitions honoring outstanding achievements, leadership, and community partnerships. The college’s President, David Maddahi, was recognized for decades of leadership, vision, and dedication to advancing healthcare education. Special commendations were presented by Senator Bob Archuleta and Assembly Member José Luis Solache Jr. in recognition of his contributions to workforce development, student success, and healthcare education.

The Gala brought together alumni, faculty, clinical partners, healthcare leaders, and community supporters to celebrate the school’s rich history and lasting impact. Special Legacy and Visionary Awards were presented in recognition of the invaluable contributions made by long-standing clinical affiliates and industry partners, including Providence, MDN Mangement, Broadway Imaging, Rana Imaging Services, RadNet, Trinity Diagnostics Imaging, Broadway Radiology Inc., Medical Imaging Center of Southern California, and Prime Healthcare. Representatives from these organizations delivered inspiring remarks highlighting the importance of academic clinical partnerships and their role in preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals.
